Hours–quite literally: hours–have passed while I’ve been playing around on Zazzle.com designing Backword Books swag. It’s too much fun. Magnets, shirts, bags, hats, mouse pads, bumper stickers…it’s a dangerous place for someone like me. I could be there all day. I MIGHT be there all day.
I didn’t design everything you’ll see at Backword; that’s not what I’m saying. All I’m saying is that I could sit here at my desk for the next ten hours sticking Backword Books logos on things. Playing with fonts and sizes. Messing with colors.
It’s already noon and I’ve been up here, in my office, since about 6:30am.
In no time at all, it will be five or six, Ian will come home, and I’ll still be sitting in my pajamas with nothing real to say to, “What’ve you been doing?”
I know there must be something less fun and more boringly productive I could be doing, and I should probably do it…
